Major is a party rockin' dj that plays all over Europe from his base in Bristol UK and Freiburg Germany. He spins a unique style that combines Jazz Funk, House, Underground Disco and Breaks of all frequencies, added with a little bit of turntablism and his own mash ups thats been described as Party Rockin!
With well over 10 years of DJ'ing experience to every possible crowd imaginable, be it raves in the 90's, discos, niteclubs, parties, cellars, squats, weddings, and even funerals! Major has a knack of knowing what to play and when to play it, from his vast knowledge of music now spanning a century as we come into 2010

Insel Affe is the latest concept for Major Lee Blunt in partnership with Dj Darren/Munkey Boy it showcases great events with top dj's, artists and performers as well as unique parties and shows direct toward having fun and taking the serious edge of modern day nightlife. It also acts as a label, artist agency and does equipment hire for venues.

Career History....

Starting back in the mid 90's with a passion for jungle,d'n'b and breakbeat Major started to play parties, underground events and raves to crowds of hundreds of blissed up nightbirds till dawn.
This journey lead to the discovery of house and the love affair will never end. Once long time resident of Ponana in Portsmouth opportunities arose with warming up for some of his favourite DJ's and Producers, the likes of Jon Carter (Monkey Mafia), Krafty Kuts & Norman Jay MBE to name a few. Other occasion's, Concentrate, Shining Light & FourPlay were home to some of the best nights on the south coast with Major Lee and friends always bringing down the house with quality vibes

A few years ago major found himself working ships to try to widen his experience and scope. The ships include the Queen Elizabeth 2, Queen Mary 2 and the Ocean Village.
With an ability to play nearly every style of music and when to play it has made Major very successful in local clubs and bars where the music is key to the nightlife.
Playing international gigs such as Germany, France, Sloveina, Holland, Switerzland, Austria and annual tours of Les Alpes, in various locations and venues. Major has played in so many varied places from a night on a dissused miltary fort in the middle of the sea to the formal Christmas Ball at Cardiff National Muesem!! .
