Tigers Club - www.myspace.com/tigersclub
The project Tiger’s Club has existed since 2007 and is a collaboration between multi-instrumentalist Cornelius Stiegeler and pianist Benedikt Weigmann. The club-oriented electro freaks have performed live all over Germany and present a mixture of experimental and straight up broken beats, incorporating oldskool synthesizer sounds with a futuristic feel; all this with added voice vocoder overlays. Live and improvised lines meet straight laptop programming – strange electronic music par excellence! Tiger’s Club plays regularly at the event “Elektroschock” which takes place once a month at Klub Kamikaze Freiburg. Performances have a duration of approximately 45 minutes and are followed by DJ’s spinning similar styles. As a stunning live spectacular, the vocal track of “Rock the Kamikaze” is being specialised for this venue (see video below…). In the studio Tiger’s Club uses Korg instruments like the “Radias”, “Microkorg” to get the keyboard sounds and the legendary “Virus” from Access next to the “Novation Bass Station” to create bass lines together with “Logic Pro 8” sequencer on a Mac. Tiger’s Club liveshows are often accompanied on an e-drumset by drummer „Basstard“, also known as DJ B-Line. Next to his own productions you can listen to exclusive “Tiger’s Club” remixes and edits on his myspace-page:
