Dr Funkenstein is a very talented DJ, Remixer and Producer from the sunny city of Freiburg. He has been spinning the turntables since 2002 but in this short time has accomplished a great deal of personal ambitions and goals.
In this time he has played a lot of doses of Funk, Electro, Hip Hop and French styled house tracks, he compiled many mixtapes and started performing at different parties around the southwest of Germany.
In 2006 he got in contact with the 'Breaks' sound and this was the style he was searching for inside all these years. Now his 'musikstyles' also include Big-Beat, Nu-Jazz mashed with Funk, Electro Nuskool Breakz. He joined the Bigbeatlounge in 2007, is running with DJ Rentmeister a monthly Radio show on www.RampFm.com and is performing in different local clubs & bars.
Insel Affe recognized the great talent in this young DJ and was very happy to take him onto the roster in 2008
